This module will explain several scenarios which may cause a licensee to request additional rights to be added to a contract, such as the addition of new channels, product categories, territories (regions), another brand, etc. The module will also explain the performance criteria that may be expected of the licensee before additional rights may be added to the contract, such as meeting commercialization dates in the initial agreement. Additionally, it will explain the importance of adhering to the contract and what not to do when new rights are desired. Finally, it will illustrate how the licensor may determine any incremental deal terms such as sales requirements, minimum royalty payments, etc. that can be expected.
